Films about the wrongly accused
Anyone know any good films about the wrongly accused...besides the obvious ones like Shawshank or 12 Angry Men? I'm looking for more obscure ones.

shareSome lighter ones would be
The A-Team
My Cousin Vinny
Beyond A Reasonable Doubt (1956) & (2009)
shareThe Hitcher (1986). Incredible performance by Rutger Hauer.
shareTango & Cash
shareTwo Hitchcock films, as well as 'The Wrong Man' already suggested, that have this theme are:
I Confess (1953)
Young and Innocent (1937)
Trial by Fire (1995)Tv movie.
shareReturn to Paradise (1998).
😎
I liked that movie, but were they wrongly accused? I mean I remember them having a whole lotta hashish.

Oh you're not only funny, you're sharp. Actually imho they were guilty only of possession. The one guy threw his hash in the garbage (a big mistake as it turns out), so you really can't charge the other dude with having that much hash, cause he really didn't have it. I know I'm splitting hairs here, but that's how I feel.
Question: What did you think of the ending? I knew he was going to hang, but usually the camera looks away at the moment of death. But here Noooooooooooo. I was surprise and kind of shocked.
Also did you buy the Judge suddenly giving the guy the death sentence just because he saw a friggin' newspaper?
😎
Yeah it’s been a minute since I’ve seen it but will attempt to answer proper. The guy getting hung was great. I hate predictable shit, and I love movies that make you feel, even if it’s uncomfortable.
To the judge question, I don’t know. I have no idea about the laws over there. Again though, that probably has a lot to do with why I liked the movie. I hate that predictable, happy ending shit.
I mostly loved the inner struggle of dude making the decision whether or not to return. That would be a rough choice.
I agree, but seeing that guy hanged! DAAAAMMMMNNNN!
