Halloween...I watch Black Christmas & Silent Night Bloody Night on Christmas. Just to prove a point

I LOVE "Black Christmas"! I like to watch it while everyone else is watching the other Bob Clark Christmas movie.

Christmas by a long shot. Even if it only lasts for a few days, lots of people tend to be kinder to one another because of the "peace on earth, good will to all" clause.

Halloween's all about candy. Christmas has candy, presents, *and* goodwill!

I really enjoy Christmas (family comes over, the fireplaces are lit, happy kids are everywhere, corny but sweet old music, watching 'A Christmas Story' over and over on the TV...)

I think i prefer Halloween though...
The air is crisp, the lowering sun lights the hills and the golden woods in light few artists could paint, the children are thrilled with their costumes and there are hundreds of scary movies to choose from all through October when the family goes to sleep

I prefer Halloween because everybody expects to get stuff from you on Christmas. It was great when I was young, but now that I am expected to buy crap for people? I would rather hand out Snicker's bars.
