Which film/story/character you'd love to live in

Out of all the films in existence which one you'd like to experience, and which character in that film you would like to be. I know that probably I have no desire to be in a horror film, but certainly in a fantasy. Maybe Eliot in E.T... or maybe to be E.T actually. Either that or Cinderella in all those adaptations, probably 2015 version, as I love the location, costumes and characters. You can name more than one. It is fun to think about and imagine those stories and worlds. It somehow reveals a small part of who we are.

reply

Alien. I would love to explore the Nostromo.

reply

You'd like to be Alien creature? Wow, what a courage. Must be fun killing all those insignificant humans huh. :D

reply

I was simply naming the movie, but now that you mention it, I would be the alien too.

reply

I'd be a professor at Hogwarts.

reply

Lauren Bacall in To Have And Have Not
Margo Tenenbaum in The Royal Tenenbuams

and also any leading female role in any Hallmark/Lifetime movie where the woman falls in love and gets a puppy and realizes the true meaning of Christmas.

reply

OMG those Hallmark romantic films are probably the best choice, sure bet for an exciting happy life.

reply

Hallmark character realizes that Christmas was actually an apropriated pagan celebration?

reply

I would want to be Virgil Starkwell in "Take the Money and Run" God's favorite movie.

reply

I would love to live in my favorite movie, Dazed and Confused. Talk about a bitchin' time.

reply

The Great Gatsby
The Beach

reply

Conan The Barbarian, as Conan.

And what would croft choose?

reply

I really love Conan, but he had a hard life, and Aquilonia seems like a dangerous and not very fun place to live. I would want to be Gordie in Stand by Me. I envy anyone who got to be 12 in 1960. I could even handle losing Denny if I had friends like that. I'd walk the tracks, and I'd chronicle the legend of our days together.

reply

Yeah. I'd rather have it easy.

Movie characters don't usually have it easy, though. That's what makes their exploits interesting to watch.
