I spent 20 years not watching Deep Impact and in that time I've seen Armageddon like 5 times. I finally watched Deep Impact today and I liked it so much more. How do you feel about this 1998 extinction level showdown?

shareI quite like Deep Impact. I haven't seen it in a while, but I like it. I've never watched Armageddon. I'll watch it at some point, but it just doesn't sound that great IMO. So, I vote for Deep Impact.
shareI sort of liked Armageddon the first couple times, but I tried watching it after Deep Impact yesterday and the acting is pretty terrible. Also not an Elijah Wood to be found. Deep Impact has replaced Armageddon for me at this point. I do agree with actionkamen that Armageddon is fun to watch with other people, to hate-watch and make fun of, but Deep Impact is actually gripping in the way Armageddon is trying to be. The Michael Bay-ness is just too much.
