Stonekeeper's Summer Game: I recommend THIS Mystery Movie #34: Eat that Hotdog off a Dirty Floor. [WINNER is StoneKeeper with !!!BLOOD DINER!!!]
Hey, ya'll. Isn't it jolly that I get to host this new round? I think I picked a good one for us.
To bring everyone up to speed, the original rules:
So you guys like to play games? Here is an investigation game that can be time consuming but it's lots of fun. Basically, I have a movie in mind and you have to guess which one it is. For each movie you guys are going to guess, I will give a hint that CONNECTS your guess with the movie I have in mind.
Example of connections: Actor, length, genre, aspect ratio, language, country, year, director, writer in common, rating, number of votes, nominations. It can even be something like: both movies involve a girl being murdered.
- The winner can either start a new game or say "pass". In case of a pass, the OP gets to start another one.
- After 12 hints, the point goes to the OP and he gets to start another one.
Let's get it on!
Hint 1: The Hospital (1971) - The plot involves a lot of deaths.
Hint 2: Strange Brew (1983) - Story centers around two brothers.
Hint 3: The Krays (1990) - A color movie.
Hint 4: A Simple Plan (1998) - The main characters are being actively investigated by law enforcement.
Hint 5: The Boondock Saints (1999) - One of the credited actors happens to share the name of a professional musician.
Hint 6: Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007) - A family business factors heavily into the plot.
Hint 7: We Own the Night (2007) - Set in the 1980s.
Hint 8: Family Business (1989) - IMDB user rating under 6.
Hint 9: Yardie (2018) - A family member's death sets the story in motion.
Hint 10: Supercross (2005) - Filmed in California.
Hint 11: Double Dragon (1994) - Two word title.
Hint 12: Deuces Wild (2002) - Under 100 minutes in runtime.
Once again, StoneKeeper wins a well-fought round with the correct answer, BLOOD DINER (1987). It's the kind of movie where a night watchman gets hit in the back of the head with a shovel, and his eyes fall out like gumballs. It's brilliant.
