new laptop

Trying to get used to it. Nice to have the keyboard back. I was able to retrieve all my favorite sites from google chrome and adblock is on. So far so good. They have moved the delete button for some reason.

reply

Nice! About time.
What kind did you get?

reply

I stayed with Toshiba because I was comfortable with it after 6 years. Plus it was on sale at Best Buy. The thing is paper thin compared to the older one.

reply

It's amazing how it changes.
As soon as you walk out the door it's out dated.
What kind of processor?

reply

intel

reply

I3 or did you go for an I7?

reply

I3 is fine for me. I don't do any gaming or downloading.

reply

You're way ahead of me.
I don't have an I anything!

Congrats. Hopefully you get more than 6 years out of it.

reply

Downloading is okay in an i3.

reply

I know, I just don't do it much.

reply

Congratulations on the new purchase. Did you do a fresh OS install, or did you just keep the Windows that came with it?

reply

Best Buy installed Windows 10

reply

In any case, you might want to make sure you have the original manufacturer copy of Windows just in case you need to use it. Depending on the version, you may be able to download the spare copy from the official Windows site.

reply

Finally

reply

I couldn't wait for you to send me one any longer croft.

reply

After what Shogun did,I was reluctant to make business with you

reply

You disappoint me,so weak!!

You surely can afford at least a quad core!

What do you expect to do with a dual??

reply

streaming and browsing.

reply

Even my phone is more faster then your laptop

Seriously,a quad can do better then a dual

reply

I don't download illegal stuff croft and I don't game. phones suck for internet viewing.

reply

You don't have to download anything, sir

And I have to contradict you on this

It's far more better on streaming then your Toshiba

Why didn't you asked your son's opinion on this?

reply

I watched a movie on Netflix and some living streaming baseball. It seems fine to me croft.

reply

If you're happy then I have nothing against it 👍

reply

I can always upgrade for $75.00

reply

2.56 GHz croft. Not enough.

Underestimate you, Señor Croft? I doubt that's possible!
