My spouse and I have been together for 26 years, happily unmarried. The topic of eye colour came up the other day. Low and behold he asked me what colour my eyes were. We were in a poorly lit room and he couldn't remember what colour my damn eyes are! He then guessed green. No they're blue asshole!

A few years ago, I was helping a couple with their shopping. The man drifted off to look at something else, while the woman and I continued chatting. Because I am interested in astrology, I asked what was her birthday, and she told me. A bit later, the man returned. She said to him, “Hey, when’s my birthday?” He started stammering. He clearly had no idea. She stopped him. She said, “We’ve been together for three years, and you don’t know my birthday! R_Kane’s been with me for three minutes, and he knows more about me than you do!”

Having said that, ill tell you this about most guys-we get distracted, lose focus because work crap is on our minds or just plain zone out thinking about building projects and garden chores pretty often...i do it all the time
26 years! Give him a hard time for a minute and then go back to loving him-
Guys can be dopes but most of us mean well
