The X Files

Twilight Zone

Twilight Zone, no contest. Not even close. X-Files comes in a third so distant it’s in a different solar system, when you compare the three series’ respective influence on popular culture and commercial success.

Not even close for me either.

I'd have probably liked The X Files a lot more had I seen it back when, but I didn't. I only started watching it last year and, well, let's just say I wasn't all that impressed. It was okay.

Same thing with Lost. Only started watching it last year, because there was nothing on that interested me. It doesn't binge well. I think that's a show you needed to see live, and have the week's build-up until the next episode for it to work. I lost interest by the 3rd or 4th season.

Internationally, I can't agree with that. The X-files has been MUCH bigger than The Twilight Zone.

The X-files, but only the early seasons.

Same here. I don't watch anything beyond season six ... unless it happens to be "X-Cops."
