Wow! You just made stuff up right theređđ thankfully I'm here to set the record straight.
Firstly she was a very successful stand up comedian. She's currently writing a special for Netflix I believe.
Secondly her sitcom ran for 5 seasons, hardly a failure and that of course means that many people did watch it as opposed to "nobody"!
So she looked at Katy Perry's boobs, funnily enough so did I. I'm not a lesbian but my eyes were drawn there they mind of stood out!

Seinfeld was a successful tv show that everyone still watches today. 99% of everyone who knows Ellen DeGeneres either never watched The Ellen Show or has never even heard of it....the show was that forgettable.
Sheâs accomplished very little in her stand up career. Can you name me a memorable stand up special that she did? How does she compare to the likes of George Carlin or Chris Rock? Yeah sheâs a more well known celebrity but it really says something when someone like Lisa Lampanelli and Sarah Silverman has accomplished more at stand up comedy than Ellen DeGeneres ever did.
How did Ellenâs movie career pan out? âMr Wrongâ currently sits at 3.8 on IMDB and was such an embarrassment that sheâs only done voice acting in movies since then. To be honest with you sheâs probably the worst stand up comedian actress Iâve ever seen, she doesnât have a shred of talent.
Lastly, if a male tv show host did the same thing they would be ripped to shreds in the âMe Tooâ climate weâre in right now. Apparently itâs okay to objectify women as long as youâre a lesbian but itâs not okay if youâre a man?

I honestly don't think you're living in the real world. Yes it was beloved no argument there, but no not true that "everyone still watches" it. But you're not talking about Seinfeld you're talking about Ellen which ran for 5 seasons.That is not a failure.
The idea that there are other stand up comedian with more success may be true, but that's a long long way from saying her stand up career failed.
She is clearly successful, that's beyond dispute. How you're shocked that having high profile guests makes her show more appealing to viewers is anyone's guess. Is she supposed to have random guy on the street guests?
Your opinion on her talent doesn't take away from the fact that she is successful and doesn't mean that making up lies on YouTube is not morally reprehensible.

Yes she is successful, but only in terms of her salary and her fame. As for her talent, she doesnât really have any. Sheâs a lousy actress, she hasnât written anything worthwhile, and you know where I stand with the rest of her career.
How did I make up lies about her? All I did was give my opinion on the woman. The facts are that she IS successful. I'm not even a huge fan but I can be fair. You keep giving examples of other sitcoms and other comediennes but that's irrelevant because not everyone finds the same thing funny do they? But she did have a career in stand up and a successful sit com...I'm repeating myself but you denying it because you don't like women or whatever won't make it untrue! Do you see?

One day I went to visit a couple male buddies of mine, both military vets circa Vietnam.
It was during the Olympics, and they turned the TV on.
I thought, cool, we're going to watch some Olympic competition.
No, they were warming up the tele to watch Ellen.
I was rather stunned, but if they enjoy watching EDG, more power to them.
Nothing wrong with EDG, and I liked her old show.
