You live in a mental hospital, don't you?

reply

So we post on their boards to keep Trumperdoo off the trending board?

reply

yes :)

reply

Yep. As well as Hillary, Obama, Colin Kaepernick, etc. Anything or anyone that isn't really related to film or television is my personal goal. I'm not sure what all of the other owners of Team Liz think, or what their individual goals with Team Liz are. That's the beauty of Team Liz, really. It can be used in one's life for whatever reason a person may have. It's about true equality... and Liz.

reply

What's the use if you post nothing on-topic on those boards? It's no better than all of the political rants.

reply

I never claimed that myself or the movement was "better". That's just my own personal stance. I'm not bombarded with actors or film and television news when I go to a news or political website. For me, personally, it's a stance against not being able to block/blacklist certain pages from the ticker. We have the ability to ignore other users. I'd like the same ability for certain pages.

And also, if you care to look around, most posts thus far have been very on-topic, from DirtyBarry dropping Ed Lauter knowledge to NotoriousRio, legnadibrom, and myself reminiscing on Tawny Kitaen. Good stuff, friend. Don't miss out.

reply

Do you have no self-control at all? In my opinion, the ability to ignore users has more to do with possible online stalking and harrassment. If you don't like certain pages, then just avoid them.

Lead by example and just discuss movies and tv shows on a site about movies and tv shows.

reply

If only it were that simple, my friend. I would love to hear the opinion of others, in regards to film and television, preferably the most recent opinions, but those film and television posters are constantly being replaced. It's clear that you don't understand the movement, or what my take on it is, and that's okay. Though, you keep responding to me, in a particularly argumentative manner I might add, which begs the question: Are you the one with no self-control?

reply

A little sensitive as well? Dude, I'm simply responding to the plan you're presenting here on a public message board and your reasons for doing so. I do not think it's a good idea.

You can protest all you want, but let me just inform you that it affects my personal enjoyment of this site by posting off-topic nonsense on random boards.

reply

Again, from what I have read, the vast majority has been ON-TOPIC for each individual person. Whether I'm discussing how great Kyle Gass and Tenacious were, or what an awesome character actor Ed Lauter was, I hardly think I'm violating any rules. If the effects of which just so happen to coincide with my personal feelings about the trending section, there's really nothing I can do about it. I really am sorry if I, or any of my friends, have affected your personal enjoyment of your political website. I wish you nothing but the best in the future.

reply

No, you're affecting my personal enjoyment of a MOVIE site.

The ones I clicked on just mentioned "Team Liz". Come on, even you guys can do better than that.

reply

You could always use ignore Stratego.

It won't stop things from showing up in trending though but then you could make your own pro-Trump bump hashtag or something and then people will be so super happy about it they'll make threads thanking you for doing so.

...oh wait #TeamLiz.

reply

I don't use the ignore button, because I have enough self-control to just avoid pages I don't like, which includes the Trump board. No idea why you and charlie think I enjoy the political rants.

Maybe change it to #TeamMoron...

reply

Your self-control doesn't seem to extend towards non Trump related subforums though Stratego.

Continue to use what you already use and you should be fine.

#TeamForgone

reply

You're talking out of your azz. If I want to ignore a certain page, I just avoid it. I don't need an ignore button for that.

It's not fine if my personal enjoyment of this site is ruined by nonsense in the trending section.

How about #TeamSockpuppet?

reply

It's not fine if my personal enjoyment of this site is ruined by nonsense in the trending section.

Welcome to the resistance.

How about #TeamNIMBY?

reply

What resistance? You can't even resist your own urge to post nothing but nonsense.

#TeamLivesUnderABridge

reply

So Trump showing up everyday doesn't bother you but genuine actors who are part of the guilds and unions and rely on the craft showing up do bug you?

#TeamGoAndBoilYerHeed (Not seriously though).

reply

Thanks, you've just proven you're the same person as charlie by being just as dense as he is. Read back and you'll see I also have a problem with "political rants" to the point that I avoid the Trump board. Posting more nonsense won't solve that problem.

#TeamJerkOff

reply

I'm now Charlie...well, decent name I suppose.

reply

You forgot it's not capitalized.

reply

Then they are clearly not me Stratego 😜

reply

Who knows. You seem dense enough to forget!

reply

You are my density!

reply

You must be a hottie like George McFly!

reply

If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.

reply

#TeamWhySoSerious?

Its all in good spirited fun...try having a lil!😉👍

reply

Nothing fun about ruining a movie site, Juror 8...uh charliekelly...I mean Deliciousfeet...

reply

Have you actually tried participating...it's actually quite fun and engaging! of course maybe fun and engaging isnt your thing...your loss👍

reply

I bet it's just as fun and engaging as all your other threads...

reply

Like the one where I needed info...so I enlisted a snake in the grass that I knew would betray me...but deliver the info I needed...snakes aren't charmed...they are manipulated...SSSSSSS🐍

reply

Not to mention...you haven't started a thread in almost a month??? I been back five days and have put up loads...most of which are still gaining traction....stop being a Dutch oven😉

reply

Why do I need to start threads? I respond to other people's threads instead. I don't see the problem.

I'm sure my Dutch oven smells better than yours.

reply

How bout your tulips?

reply

Even my 💩 smells better.

reply

Sniff it often?

reply

Ima take that as a yes!

reply

I think that snake might've gone up your
aSSSSSSS.

reply

She tried to get there...it turned out shitty for her!💩🐍...you know you got played!

reply

You know you talk out of your ass and crap out of your mouth...

reply

That was a burn worthy of a seven year old...well played!

reply

At least it makes sense.

reply

You keep telling yourself that!

reply

And he can't seem to ever post anything without including that overused winking emoji at the end. Seems very juvenile.

reply

Reminds me of croft.

reply

Yeah. kind of OCD and predictable.

reply

And both are getting really boring.😪

reply

😉

reply

Naw, we don't have any kind of an inside joke going on here.

reply

I was right out in the open db...😉

reply

You in my video too boy! You check that ?

reply

I always have been with my criticisms of your idiocy & I don't need an overused emoji to emphasize it.

reply

Least I'm not proud of school shootings😉

reply

Yeah, way to falsely accuse & deflect from the real issue, troll. Reeks of desperation!

reply

Keep it rolling...I want this thread to hit 100 before my walk😉

reply

Nope...not gonna do it...schucks! Now I reekl of tro!! Perspiration😉

reply

I don't need an ignore button for that.
Bingo !

How about # Flashinthepantimesucktrolls?

reply

I'm inclined to agree with this. It seems counterproductive to me, just compounding an existing problem. A prime example is a major complaint on here since day one which is, a lack of activity on individual movie boards. Any contributions posted there will move down the trending section even faster.

There's also a clear-cut rule in the site policy about attempting to manipulate that section. It's just a matter of time before mods swoop in and lay down the law.

reply

I fully agree that it's not ideal. It's just the best we've got, for now. Plus, as I said above, it's actually leading to great conversation, which is great. So, I hardly think it's "lay down the law" worthy lol.

reply

Well, you apparently haven't looked at the site's Standards section. It's, as I said, clearly emphasized in bold font. And it's not about how you interpret it but how the mods do.

Sure, it might be a temporary fun trend, which I've seen come and go before but the last "lol" might just be on you.

reply

I think I'll be okay either way. You tried to make it sound like a SWAT team was going to kick in my front door. I was having a laugh. Relax, tough guy.

reply

LOL...you gonna be fine...this is merely fun that will increase thread count...I see no rules regarding that😂😂😂

reply

No, you just chose to interpret it that way. You're obviously also not privy to what have been perceived as very controversial calls by the mods here before. You claimed to be soliciting others' opinions. I offered one but you immediately became defensive, gravitating towards personal attack, just like you did with Stratego, because you apparently sense the weakness of your position.

reply

"Personal attack" lol. I was joking about how intense "lay down the law" sounds in this context. Absolutely nothing "personal" about it. I know absolutely nothing about you. How could I say anything personal?

reply

Again, you're obviously deflecting and obfuscating. I guess you missed the part where I referenced " controversial calls " by mods here in the past. Other long timers on here know exactly what I'm talking about.

Like I said, I offered an opinion, did so in a civil manner but intuitively knew it would devolve into a futile back and forth. So now I'm saying, I don't care for any more exchanges with you. I've made my point.

reply

And it's not about how you interpret it but how the mods do.

Yeah, I'm having a Delaware lawyer look into that one just now and so let's not be so persistent on pertinence there db20. If it's down to personal interpretation than free speech is allowed and if it is down to compelled speech then the rules here break the law in which they state they exist.

Ease up on the mod breaks there, you could cost Jim money.

reply

Ease up on the mod breaks there, you could cost Jim money.

As usual, more cryptic input from you to either create or contribute to confusion. I guess, like the other guy, you somehow overlooked my use of the word "controversial" in the context.

reply

I like focusing on the mod part personally db.

I don't remember seeing that qualification in the prospectus and I'm as sure as heck it's not used consistently around here.

But please, let's see what the judge thinks "Controversial" means in the wider context.

reply

Yeah, I know; selectively biased. And you just keep muddying those waters further. I'm sure if I asked what you meant by " what the judge thinks," your responses would become even more convoluted, because that's your style.

reply

Thanks for at least admitting I have style db ;)

reply

Lot of strife just to have the trending section lit...totally worth it!!!

reply

It's only kindling at the moment Df, we need to forge a furnace and light up the sky with it!

reply

I got matches!

reply

We need fuel!!

reply

We got that in spades...wait...was that racist?

reply

I don't even know how it can be racist Df and so yeah, probably!

reply

Right?

reply

I have an idea.

Instead of bumping random people's boards so MC doesn't turn into PoliticsChat, why don't we use the same time and energy to post legit posts on actual actors, directors, etc, and movie and TV boards?

I was in at the start of this. Just having a bit of fun and I have to say Liz's photo made me giggle whenever I saw it.

But the reality is, if I just found MC, or was new, and saw those posts, I'd be about as put off by them as the ceaseless political rant posts.

reply

Lends credence to the expressions :

"The novelty wore off."
" Familiarity breeds contempt. "

reply

Part the novelty wore off, part whoa now trending looks just as bad but in a completely different way, part vodka!

reply

Why have you taken such an interest in this may I asked ??

reply

I just love film and television. That's what I plan on discussing henceforth.

reply

That is good to hear.

reply

Ok got you and in doing so we would also be making use of under utilised boards, raising the profile of some fine actors, encouraging others to notice them as well.

I see this as a positive thing and if it keeps the political stuff out of the way then that's just an added bonus.

reply

Exactly. You get it. In all seriousness, there are a lot of great character actors who largely go unnoticed, unfortunately. J.T. Walsh is probably my personal favorite character actor of all time. Think I should go give him a shout out now, actually.

reply

I just thought it would be fun...didn't know about the protest angel...not really bothered...just lovin some choices for profile pics! Really works both ways!

reply

Add mart Feldman
Gene Simmons is also pretty good

reply

who is Angelina Pivarnick ??

reply

She's from family-friendly "Jersey Shore".

reply

who is Pete Docter ??

reply

He's written tons of Pixar movies, and directed a couple as well.

reply

thanks

reply

who is Rick Mayall ?? No thread for this guy.

reply

Whoops, it's Rik Mayall. He was the titular character in "Drop Dead Fred", a movie I loved as a kid.

reply

You don't know who Rik Mayall is? The Young Ones?
You Canadians!

reply

who is billy blanks ??

reply

You're just joking with me now, right? "Billy Cole" from "The Last Boy Scout". Do you not Bruce? I mean, he's not the best, but at least once in a while?

reply

I have honestly never heard of him

reply

Added Charlie Dell.

reply

You the Man froggy!

reply

Aiko Horiuchi is now my favorite bad headshot.

reply

WOW!😮
