Question to my friends with young kids.

I am putting together a Jeopardy type game for library time for my kids at school. I have a question. Do young kids today (K-6) still watch Sesame Street? If I asked any related questions to SS would they have any idea what I am talking about?

I have a Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, Dr. Seuss, Diary of A Wimpy Kid rounds, and need one more.

Not in this country

Have an MCU round. Kids love superheroes.

My daughter never really watched Sesame Street and she is 9 now, I agree with the MCU round or perhaps comic book movies in general.

reply

Yeah. It's just that we have already done soooooooooo many MCU themed activities.

Pokémon or something similar?

kids love that shit. anime might work too.

My daughter doesn't watch Sesame Street. I wonder if she even knows Big Bird, haha. She watches a lot of Youtube and plays way too many video games. She loves horror/sci-fi movies though so maybe you could put a round like that if you thought the kids at school would know the questions.

"She watches a lot of Youtube and plays way too many video games."

That is like 90 percent of the kids these days. lol

reply

haha i know. i really don't like that about kids today.

What about the "How to Train Your Dragon" franchise? Two movies with another coming next year, plus its TV series called DreamWorks Dragons. My 8-year-old granddaughter loves this series.

I didn't know Sesame Street was still on, I've not seen it here in the U.K since the mid 80s.

You could try questions from Lego Movies and Minions etc, South Park might be a bit risky so I'll not suggest it. 👍

Hi cap
My kids never really enjoyed SS...they loved cartoons though, particularly the Nick Jr ones
Maybe a cartoon category could meet your needs
Good luck
