Favorite Sneakers!!!๐Ÿ‘Ÿ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

May or may not have considered it...but Deliciioufeet is a purveyor of bipedal haberdashery!
Sneakers...or trainers, tennis shoes, kicks, slips, high tops, low tops or skaters...whatever you call them...they have become a movement these days...and are one of my few guilty pleasures! So I got to thinking...everyone likes and wears them...so why not discuss them?
So here we are...I'll kick it off..nice pun!

Feets been rocking two brands since the early 80,s...Converse...with a proclivity towards Chuck T.'s (Taylors) and off the wall vans....still rocking them today! Got quite a collection...but nothing compared to the wifey!!! The woman loves her Feet๐Ÿ˜‰

So give it to me...I can take it...what treads get you around town? I got Michigan J and hownos as new balance fans...ladies seem to like reebok...Yonkers...I'll eat a bug if he don't
Kick it in Adidas...I'm sure Nike has a following...texasjack...BOOts๐Ÿ˜œ...but that's a post of another color๐Ÿ˜Ž

Reebok pumps back in the 90s

reply

Solid response!!! Name brand with street cred...nostalgia for days!!! Sure they did nothing for your hoop dresms...but I remember a time you were a busta without them...so of course I bought some!!!

reply

Yeah. Plus they made you a lot better at basketball.... NOT... I remember I saved up 130 dollars delivering newspapers and went and bought them myself. Remember LA Gear pumps too? Now I am more of a Vans/Airwalks kinda person. So comfortable. I am super hard on shoes so I go through a pair every 3 months.

reply

Yup...vans...ah vans! Had some sidewalks and they were comfy as well as rad! Might have to check out a pair soon!
Forgot all about LA Gear! They made a pump too? Wack!

reply

Remember those skateboarding shoes that had the grind pads on them?

reply

Oh he'll yeah!!! Never was much of a skater...but loved the look!

reply

Me either. But I sure dressed like a skater. Hair down to my chin, long sleeve shirt under short sleeved shirt. Baggy pants... Talkin trash

reply

You just described my current wardrobe...well baggy camo shorts...but otherwise...that's what I'm wearing!!!LOL๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

reply

How many pockets those shorts be having?

reply

Yup...they're cargos๐Ÿ‘

reply

THE shoe I find on the shelf that Goodwill can find the match to in the back room.

reply

DAMN! I'd sooner go Cody Lundin than wear another man shoes! It's like commando for your toes!!!๐Ÿ˜ท๐Ÿ™

reply

I ain't payin' double digits for shoes. It's my religion.

reply

That's actually a religion i could get behind...well...unless they really hit ya in the snotlocker...then I might have to leave some odor eaters in the collection plate๐Ÿ˜‰
By the way...baller response!!! Both times๐Ÿ‘

"Bipedal haberdashery"! Wow! What a great phrase!

I'm very pedestrian when it comes to shoes. I have several pairs of black Asics, and I had to go look at them to see what brand they are. I wear black shoes, socks and pants. Kind of a junior Johnny Cash.

๐Ÿ˜Ž

reply

I do love words...they give us freedom! Asics makes a lot of sense...reliable,non flash, not outrageously priced...you travel a lot...makes sense! Sensible shoes is wise for the pedestrian!

Dan Ackroyd and River Phoenix.

Growing up, my brother got into skateboarding. I noticed how SWEET his sneakers were all the time. It started my fondness for Vans and Chuck Taylors. I don't own any but I love the way they look.

I seem to always choose shoes that have memory foam in them. Currently have a brand called Ryka and they are incredible. So comfortable.

reply

Right? You got some sick taste in kicks girl!!!chucks and vans baby!!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜Ž

reply

It's not trainers for me but shoes made for women.

From baby doll to stilleto and everything inbetween I'm aroused at the concept the same way someone else might find motorcar engines agreeable.

Even a worn out set of ballet slippers have a place in my heart.

Sneakers seem a bit low effort for my tastes.

reply

Could not wait to read your post! Not disappointed!!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘ so far...best in thread๐Ÿ†
