Need help with 70s TV show

I remember watching it as a kid late 60s early 70s.
It ran in the mornings , maybe only on weekends , or Sunday specifically.
It had an animated intro with a song that contained the words “ just around the corner , maybe a mule eating cactus...” That’s all I remember . It may have been an educational PBS show. btw, this was in The NY/ Ct area.

Could it have been a local New York show called Around the Corner?

Edit: Around the Corner is PBS Milwaukee.

Yes that’s most likely it.
I would love to see an episode or at least the animated opening.
But nothing’s comes up on the internet☹️
