I've had people talk to me and then act as if I don't exist.
also had people lie to me and about me, trying to deceive me.
some people are deceptive, yes?

Yes, yes and yes.

Let’s just say after reading this thread y’all are babes in the woods. I was married and waiting for the first kid to pop out when Kennedy was assassinated. There was no regular tv programming for days. We only had 3 channels back then. I was stuck at home, pregnant, hot (no AC) and miserable. I thought I was going out of my gourd!

reply

Wow...thats quite an experience!
Respect!!

reply

I was born in 1963. Was it a boy or a girl ??

reply

A girl born 2 weeks early weighing 6.5 lbs. on Dec. 8, 1963. Living in Central Florida. Absolutely miserable!

reply

just two weeks after JFK was killed.

Never have I built a heat, actually humidity, tolerance! The first we had AC was in 1969. We bought a small mobile home, I went to work nights, then I had a window unit installed. I thought I had died and went to heaven! I could actually take a shower, dry off and stay dry. When I was in high school with no air, our clothes were so wet from perspiration I had to peel them off when I got home. Good old Florida...humidity & bugs!
