Anyone want some miniature candy bars ??? - General Discussion Discussion

I always overbuy. I bought two large bags of candy and there were only 16 freaking kids! So now I'm eating miniature snickers bars. Of course I used to buy three of four, so I'm slowly getting more accurate.

I've decided to put a note on my calendar for 2018 to wit: "Buy only ONE bag of candy. You had 16 freaking kids last year!"

my wife lives in fear of running out and being labelled as cheap by the neighbors. Hence she bought 50.

Yes, so I bought a bag which contained 35 pieces. I gave out 15 to kids, and ate three myself. So I had 17 left. Success!
I will put a note on next year's calendar that I had only 15 kids, and to buy only one bag again.

20-25, twice as many as last year. Still have plenty of candy, although the Reese’s peanut butter cups are all gone for some reason.

23 kids this year as compared to 15 from 2017. I still have pretty of leftovers to bring into the office tomorrow.

Had almost 40 kids this year!
The weather was so nice that everyone came by and i ran out of candy
Two local fathers even hitched wagons to their tractors and drove bunches of kids all around
Fun time

He Don't live in Yonkers anymore...fairly far north of the city I believe...almost Connecticut perhaps👍

Sadly, i had to get out of Yonkers several years ago...ill always love my hometown though
The schools are pretty bad there and the crime and traffic were becoming a big nuisance so i got my kiddies out

Much better weather this year and hence more kids. We stayed outside on the porch and ordered pizza. Not a bad evening at all.
