Whoever created this board used some kind of jedi mind trick powers to dig deep into the hidden recesses of my mind where that ol' films general itch was always asking to be scratched. I thought I had buried the greedy desire for good, but now with this new site I can't help but feel like a damned foolish dog getting his tummy rubbed all over again...

Just one more request... Could you put links to the individual numbered pages of each new thread? For example, if the thread were titled "Best Laser Gun Battles", and people really went off on the topic, then back in the ol' days there was a link to each successive page of chatter as the posts piled up. Remember that? And also, there was a link to the very last post. Could we have both those things too?

You can use the jump to latest post to see the most recent post and the pages are numbered if that helps.

All in good time. The powers that be have brought about so many updates since the beginning of this site. That was such a short time ago too. I have no doubt that your wish will be granted in time. Perfection is just around the corner.....

If I'm understanding your request correctly, you CAN jump to different pages, but you have to scroll all the way to the bottom (even below the ads) to get to it (And if you don't see it, that means that particular thread is all still on one page).

As I recall, IMDb allowed you to jump from the top of the page.

The pagination is done a little odd in that it's not a certain amount of posts per page--It's 8 direct replies to the OP per page (so a page can have anywhere from 8 to a bajillion replies depending on how many are direct replies to the OP).

yeah, that bothers me a bit. Also, I loved being able to zero in on the very last post. Even though I had missed all the lead up to the conversation, I felt like I could always jump right in where the most potent action was happening.
