Were you here the day imdb shut down ?

No, I dogpaddled around in the open ocean for a few weeks afterwards. Visited a couple of islands before washing up on MC's shores.

This is my one and only username.

I was on IMDb at the moment it went down (what a wild ride that was), and I think it was a few hours later I learned of Moviechat while looking through the comment threads on the IMDb Facebook page. I'm pretty sure I joined Moviechat the same day IMDb went down, though some hours later.

My username is the same one I had on IMDb.

I was also on IMDb almost every day until its untimely and most unfortunate demise. So thankful there is once again an interactive movie discussion board, especially with most of the preserved data. Hope people will continue to join and support it. My username is the same minus a "_".

A couple of days after it shut down. I had first registered on another site but I didn't care for it . I remembered that someone had suggested this site before the shut down. This filled the bill and it just gets better all the time.
And yes. My user name is the same.

I just recently found this place after IMDB shut it all down. I was known as michaeldinan because my name wouldn't change to what I wanted it to be.

I joined around the time IMDB announced they were shutting the boards down. Great decision.

I was on IMDB watching everyone say goodbye as the archives disappeared, and I`m not going to lie but I cried as they where deleted...
