Another movie search :) Abandoned ship type....

In the 1990's, I saw a movie on tv. I don't know what year it is from or what the title is. Can anybody help me with this? I looked up the internet so hard about it, but I can't find it. The thing I remember the most is, that on the abandoned ship (not sure if it's some kinda ghost ship or not) there was always the same tune playing somewhere in the ship and the people walking around would hear it. At the end of the movie, you just see the ship kinda speeding in the ocean. I know that's not much. But the thing with the record player always playing the same tune might ring a bell.
Thanks.

I don't remember the song... but I remember a ship speeding in the ocean. It would be funny if this was the one considering the title.

Someone always asks questions about that dann movie. The title is so easy to remember. What is wrong with people?

reply

It is NOT "Ghost Ship" that I am looking for. So what is wrong with you? Reading disabilities?

reply

Well you'll never find the answer on this board. Try another. And next time read the tv guide to find out the title of the movie you are watching instead of coming online to bother us

reply

Why are you just being a jerk?

reply

Yep, I can definitely read the tv guide of the 1990's now, can I?

reply

Your cable provider doesn't have one channel that has the tv guide on it or something like it?

reply

Well that is a gut puncher.

What if moviechat was my last resource for finding this sort of information?

reply

I saw ghost ship and I really like it. But it's definitely not the one I am looking for. The one I mean must be older since I was watching it in the 1990's on tv and don't know how old it was then. It's so weird. I searched literally the whole internet (no, not really literally, since that is not possible :) ) but I couldn't find it. Everything with ghost ship bla bla bla I checked... nothing. I just thought, maybe someone might remember the thing with the record player onboard playing the same tune all the time... or was it not all the time? It's such a long time ago that I saw it! And now I think it was a ship that was not supposed to exist, maybe because people believed it sunk or whatever. But I am not sure about that either. Well, it's hard to find, because all of these stories are pretty similar except the record player thing...

Alright, thank you, I'm gonna check 'em all out!

reply

Yep, good luck... if it's not there... then it was probably an abandoned ship... not a ghost ship. Don't know if there's an abandoned ship category though.

reply

Okay, I will go through everything and let you know. Thanks for being kind to me. Not like that other guy..
Will let you know if I find something.

reply

Sure... if someone is rude... just push the ignore button to the bottom right of the posts. Keep in mind though that at this point, you cannot reverse it, once you press it.

reply

Not a problem, I don't need that button. I can speak for myself, no worries :)

reply

Oh, btw, freedom of speech, man :) I think "ignore" buttons ought to be done away with :)

reply

I also try not to use it if the person is half troll half decent posts... but when they continuously ask dumb shit and try to get people upset... I'll block just so I don't have to see the clutter. But yes, in general I'll give them a chance first... even if a little obnoxious.

reply

It definitely could be the 1980's film "death ship", I just read the description on wikipedia. That fits. I will watch it an tell you if you were right. Thanks again for helping me.
