Wonder Woman: Critics First Reactions Say It's The Best DC Film Yet
I'm usually skeptical with these first wave reactions because even Suicide Squad and BvS had great first reactions....with probably more than a few embellishments ("Ben Affleck was stunning!")
But when you read more of the Wonder Woman Tweets from critics, it does feel like DCEU might have actually succeeded here. If a summary of their feelings can be made: WW has "heart" (no one ever said that of the other DCEU films) and feels more or less on par with Captain America: First Avenger. I'm not really seeing words like "rushed, confusing, broken" like I did with SS/BvS. Only negative I saw was a "slow first act".

Well Suicide Squad was actually a good film. Agree with you on BvS though, because of all the hype it may have been the biggest letdown in recent memory.
I'm not putting any faith into these early critic reviews of WW.
How can Suicide Squad be a good film?
shareWell, it was super successful at the box office...#5 in the past 365 days.

I didn't know that. I'm not even mad, that's amazing!
According to the website, Batman v Superman is an even better film because it grossed 330 millions domestic, more than Suicide Squad's 325 millions.
A puff piece with one thing on its mind: selling the idea that the new Wonder Woman is better than it probably is. Who are these "critics" anyway? Corporate shills getting paid beaucoup $ to sing the praises of these awful superhero movies so there will be manufactured "buzz" about them. It doesn't matter if the product is soulless swill or not. The manipulation is abundantly apparent to those of us who've seen it all before and been duped by publicity and marketing more than once.
