Prank phone calls

I get them on a regular basis. Mostly private , the pos will fill my voice mail. Sometimes call and hangup, play music, stupid conversations. Even play my voice mail recording onto mine. It's weird, after 10pm up until before 9am. 1 of my friends is fucked , claims he has aspergers. When I get mad I remind him,it pisses him off.
I have questioned him several times about phone calls, caught him on stuff. He is fucked. Sometimes can't take no for an answer. I at one time had a 35 voice mail limit. Someone would fill it. They would keep calling until full. It's Insane. Who does this. I used to answer it, now I just answer and say nothing, they hang up ?

reply

It's now at 10 voice mail max. Anyone make sense of this ? I try not to react or get angry with him. Sometimes he increases his odd behaviour. I have lost my mind on him a few times. After im done yelling at him. He stares at me with a stupid grin. Fn retard !

reply

How would you know if he stares at you if this guy is on the other end of the phone?

reply

No, you misunderstood me. I have yelled at him in person

reply

So even after knowing who this guy is, he still does it? Well, you have yourself a real annoyer. If someone is willing to go to lengths to fill up your voice mail, through pranks, that is as rough as it is going to get. I mean most prank callers stop at just calling the person and then hanging up. multiple times. Not only is he screwing you over from getting important voicemails from other people, there is really no way you can actually stop this from happening. I mean it is not a crime to prank call someone, nor fill up their voicemail. It seems like the only option you have is to change your number.

reply

I agree. I was gonna say blow a whistle in his ear, but how could the op see him?

reply

Get an air horn. I am sure that would stop it once and for all!

reply

Based on what they said to you I think it would annoy them enough to back off. Airhorns would get alot of attention and stalkers don't like that.

reply

He wants the D

reply

I'm not sure if it's my friend. It's fucked up.

reply

I had the same problem, but when i answered the person instead of speaking,he was play some music, weird people. For him it was ,i think ,an intelligent thing to do,but for me it's pathetic.

reply

I don't mention it to him anymore.

reply

Sounds like you got a problem, baradero.

😎

reply

I hate prank phone calls and telemarketers. That's why I don't usually answer my phone unless I know the number.

Could you possibly change your number? Maybe get a new phone?

reply

You can change your number, but you should be careful to who you giving the number

reply

True. Usually you can't control who your old number goes to, though.

reply

Although, that would be hilarious. Imagine someone getting a phone call from the pranker, who had been pranking you, the entire time. It's almost like a passing on of the prank, almost a prank itself.

reply

Prankception!

reply

I had a similar problem with a crazy relative.

I tried setting the ringtone to silent and then sending direct to voicemail, but I still had the same problem with the voicemail box filling up.

I finally solved it with an app that would automatically answer and hangup, almost instantly. I never even knew I missed the call until I checked the list. It didn't take long until the attempts stopped, as they were rendered futile immediately.

reply

Sounds like he's trolling you in real life, lol.

reply

I'm convinced it's my friend, at this point I'm reconsidering this arrangement ? I have a phone app, not sure if it worked last nite.. 5 private phone calls , no voicemail. I'm sick of him, he Facebook messenger me, I left unread, then voice mails me the same crap. He doesn't get it. His problem, any attention, or if I respond at all. He will keep at it. It doesn't matter what I say to him , he is relentlss. Ignoring him only works. He is fu cked up !

reply

1. That doesn't sound like a friend.
2. I thought you confronted him face on? If so, then why are you not fully certain it's him?

reply

Reminds me of Bart calling Moe's Tavern in the early episodes of The Simpsons. I'm surprised prank phone calls are still a thing these days. They mostly went out of style by the 90s when people started getting fancier phones that show the number of the person calling.

reply

I caught him doing stuff before, benefit of the doubt , would he really do this ? Once he played an audio clip in front of me, it was stupid I received that in a voicemail before . He has made calls in public right beside , my phone rings private . I look at him, stupid grin and he starts laughing . I'm convinced ! A few other times, shortly after I read his messages on Facebook, I would receive phone calls. Coincidence, it plays on your mind after awhile . Last time we went out, I was hammered, black out, shit show. A few things happened I can't remember, yet, he can't fill in the details ? He was the driver !

reply

A few nites ago, I answered a call. I said his name, I said you need to stop making these phone calls, repeated the statement. Next phone call, voicemail . Recorded what I said onto my voicemail.

reply

When I see he has tried to contact me, I actually want to freak out, causes me anxiety

reply

Reduced my voicemail to a capacity of 3. Person still does it,getting close to changing number

reply

Seriously wtf, call and hangup, wtf. I blocked it, goes right to voicemail. Their a pos who needs to die !

reply

It happened to me also😒

reply

If you don't depend on your voice mail, unplug it.

reply

For work. Depending on, then have to call back and ask time and location of shift. Potential headache ?

reply

Can you just block his number?

reply

No

reply

Change it and be carefull to hom you give this number.

reply

Why not? Does he use multiple phones or something?
