Streaming does NOT give as good a picture as hard media. But most people who buy are buying Blu-rays and 4K Blu-rays these days. Until 8K comes out in 2018.

shareThere are two reasons why a movie on a Blu-ray disc will look better than the same movie in high definition will look when streamed, or seen on a cable or satellite service: a much higher data rate, and an uncompressed signal versus a compressed signal. The data rate for a major streaming service, like Netflix, is one gigabyte per hour. The data rate for a disc is more than twice that. More information equals more fine detail. When a signal is compressed, it must be uncompressed when it reaches its output device, your TV. Every time data are compressed, there is inevitable signal degradation and loss. Yes, you can have access to the same movie in different ways, but you will not get the same result with them all.

Not everyone lives in a place with high-speed internet or has a computer good enough to handle it. In fact most people don't.

Tomb raider 2013 and tomb raider trilogy remastered for ps3,now i have an xbox one so i don't use the ps anymore.I want to buy the trilogy for xbox360, because the xbox one can read games for xbox360
shareThere is actually one DVD and only one, that I had actually bought with my own money and it was Songs of the South. I usually put money towards things that are not mainstream or were once mainstream. I wanted to see how prejudiced it was and it was actually pretty tame. Back in its time, it was actually way worse. The actual African American storyteller was not even allowed to see the premiere, after the movie finished! Can you believe that?! I am glad Walt Disney or whoever, allowed diversity in the film. It at least gave some justice, but I had to see that movie.
