Remember the episode with the news photog . He told Scully she couldn't die . He changed places with her.

That's what I thought. Yeah he was a psychic who could see the future. She saw death and it passed her over

He wasn't a psychic I don't think just someone who had a curse of something on him , he was played by the great character actor Geoffrey Lewis.
