What are your thoughts on IMDb's latest ;I Need To Know; update ?

So IMDb has added a new feature/replacement LINK for ;I Need To Know; Questions.. They are calling it ;Get Satisfaction; It is link to a 3rd party NOT IMDb
This is the copy pasted msg announcement:

Our Contributors Help board is moving to a different platform hosted by GetSatisfaction.com. The same type of questions and topics previously suitable for the Contributors Help board can now be posted under the ;Data Issues & Policy Discussionst; category.

What else will be moving to GetSatisfaction?
We have created new GetSatisfaction categories for ;I Need to Know; to replace the ;I Need to Know; message board and;IMDb Poll; to replace the ;IMDb Poll; message board.

Will I need to create a new account to use GetSatisfaction?
Yes: GetSatisfaction.com is a third-party entity and we do not share user registration data with them. Registering for an account there is very quick/easy (you can also sign up and login using a Twitter or Facebook account).

Hmm, not impressed. Get Satisfaction is used by a lot of companies for their customer service, but it's not integrated to their own site so people can register impostor names and whatnot. On the plus side, you can rate whether the support agent was helpful to you and the ratings are all public, so it can make them more accountable.

Yes.. I think it's rubbish too.. Also when I looked.. not many answers given to the questions asked..
Maybe IMDb noticed a downturn in site traffic (ha ha) and tried to recreate the illusion of contact members had with the msg boards.. by having this link..

Get Satisfaction has been the only way to contact IMDB for years.

I found it suspicious there never were messages about all the spam and piracy in the boards, or complaints about fake reviews and votes.

I do know they didn't allow posts about those complaining about other users. I posted a complaint when I saw someone bullying another user and posting private information about her family. Get Satisfaction deleted it. A few others from the same board also complained with links to the board and those too were removed quickly. I will never use Get Satisfaction again.
