this is interesting, but I'd rather NEVER go back to IMDB...The Movie Database and Wikipedia has all the information that IMDB has. I'd prefer to give them my site visits, rather than IMDB who don't care about their users.

I have a hard time believing IMDb would allow that. But it's a super cool idea!

Pointless - looks like you still have to go back to IMDB and contribute hits. The goal here is to starve IMDB of traffic, is it not?

Time would be better expended creating an extension that took themoviedb's info (of course, with their permission and making sure it still contributed hits to their site) and displayed it on the individual movie pages here.

Exactly! I am not giving IMDb the pleasure of my company again. They don't want us and they've made that abundantly clear.
