Did you delete your IMDb account?
I didn't see much reason to stay there anymore and have just deleted my account. Not sure if I will ever go back now, as the message boards were a huge part of me using IMDb (even if I read more than I post).

Nope, figured I'd let it stay so it could accrue some more years. I don't want to start from scratch in case the boards ever return.
shareIt's strange. I was a member for over 10 years but it wasn't a hard decision to delete my account after the closure of the message boards.
shareYes. I didn't have any reviews saved up or anything, so it was an easy decision to make. The message boards were the main reason I visited the site.
share15 years on and I just deleted it. Screw them.
shareI had 700+ posts that were still in existence. I would guess that several thousand had been deleted over the years.
I'll continue to use IMDB as I always did, except for checking showtimes. So should everyone else. No reason to spite yourself.
What you should do is:
A) Make sure you have an ad blocker when you go to the site.
B) Boycott Amazon.com unless it's an inconvenience.
I literally have 102 saved items in my cart (all books and movies). I plan to buy them elsewhere, whenever possible. I plan to let them know.
Nope, figured I would keep it. 10 years is a long time on a board. Plus I do like taking polls.
shareI kept mine. I have a large Watch List and don't want to go through building it up again.
