This vintage 3D movie has been restored and by a rather convoluted route, returned to distribution. It's scheduled for an August 2014 release in the UK by Panamint.

You clearly have not seen any recent 3D movies. Life of Pi, The Great Gatsby, Gravity. These movies are not just throwing things into the audience for the fun of it. You are more talking about old hollywood 3D movies from something like the 50's.
