John Williams Concert

Has anybody been to a John Williams concert?
I know that the Boston Pops are his main group to play with, but would it be worth going to a concert of his that wasn't the Boston Pops? He would be there, of course, but he just wouldn't be conducted the Boston Pops. Anybody think it'd still be worth it?

Let me know!

Haven't been, but would LOVE to!

If he would be there and not the Boston Pops? Hell yes, it would be worth it! John Williams is bigger than any one orchestra.

I'd really love to hear him conducting the LONDON Symphony Orchestra, the orchestra that performed his scores for the Star Wars movies, Superman, Dracula and Raiders of the Lost Ark among others.

I've been to his concerts at the Hollywood Bowl several times, where he conducts their orchestra in playing his music. They have all been phenomenal, and so much fun! It's wonderful to hear his music live, and I'd highly recommend you go.

You're lucky, too bad the last time he conducted in Europe was in 1998:

Anyhow, his last conducted concert was almost a year ago (due to a back injury he cancelled few concerts this year):

No, regrettably not. This is something that I have missed.
