It's getting queer and queerer

It seems movies on the web and especially webseries are by a growing percentage made for and by the LGBTQ+ community, at least that's my impression.
I don't mind, even though I'm not part of that group I actually got to like some of their webseries, I love romances of any kind, so I love at least some of these as well.
For me it all started with "GAP The Series" about 2 years ago on YT, now the same producers have made another similar webseries with the same actors "The Loyal Pin" and there are more and more other production companies who see the demand in the market and jump in.

Given the success these productions have, even though they are all made by small companies, meaning almost all of them are pretty amateurish with weak storylines, I'm kinda waiting to see the big production companies jumping in on these. I assume sooner or later the big guys want a piece of the cake and I wonder what this trend could become when some professional prouction companies get into this branch of the market.

I mean nowadays there's hardly any TV series that doesn't have at least one gay couple in it, Greys Anatomy, almost all the spin offs of NCIS and many many more, even And Just Like That (the reboot of Sex and the City) has one now.
The topic is really gaining popularity by the day and I guess it's just a matter of time until the big companies will try to take over the success of the webseries.
