If you could start your own TV network, what would you call it?

If I became a rich businessman (not very likely) and could found my own TV network, I'd call it "DeWitt Television Network", in reference to the DuMont Network. I'd probably even repeat a few DuMont series like "The Goldbergs" during the summer just for fun (mind you, I'd like to bring back the idea of producing new summer replacement series).

I had an idea for friday night and saturday night, which would have a repeat of "The Morey Amsterdam Show" at 11:30PM, following by an anime series aimed at "mature audiences". The idea of following a late-1940s TV repeat with a anime series thrills me for some reason....though if I had a network, it wouldn't be focused on repeats.

A few classic show repeats here and there but mainly new series. How about some new anthology series? Or a classy revival of "What's My Line"? I have a very intersting idea for an animated series but I won't go into that (erm...), as well about four dozen other programming ideas ranging from "probably wouldn't work, but maybe" to "why hasn't that been done yet?".

So, if you had your own TV network, what would you call it? What would you show?

Great topic OP.

I often played around with this one.

If I had my own network I'm not sure what the name would be just yet I know I would play nothing but old school sitcoms from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. It would somewhat like TV Land but 20x times better. I'll probably try to make the network fun by having little interviews of people explaining what made their era nostaliga.

RDTV. Fridays would look something like this

Friends
That's 70s Show
My Name Is Earl
Go On
Last Man Standing
Two And A Half Men

The channel would be call Stand Up, and I would show drama, comedy, science fiction, horror, war/ battle, game, sports, romance, and would reflect real life. I would not cater to one section of the viewing audience, and no reality shows or infomercials.
Edit: I also like Right Choice station too.

I just thought about something I would create a classic stand up comedy channel.

I would have Eddie Murphy Raw/Delirious

Richard Pryor
Red Foxx

and etc you don't see to many old school stand up on TV, I'm assuming they can't show it because of all the vulgar language.

"Old School" comedy in deed. I saw Richard Pryor once in concert at college. I had no idea how raw comics could be, since I only saw them on sit coms at the dinner hour. You might introduce a new generation to their talent. It's not like they don't hear it in the music...
