My guess is that Saturday morning cartoons will continue to exist, but those will be on basic cable, Netflix or something else entirely in the coming future. Only OTA channels have E/I requirements, and as such, it is definitely not worth the reglatory nightmare to balance the load. The FCC sucks!

I finally had a Saturday off
and figured that I'd check the news
and then realized what Saturday morning TV was like
when you used to have Saturday off
and watch cartoons before work
or maybe before something or other
But there were no cartoons!
What a waste they made of Saturday morning
I mean
Like on Sunday
you can watch the news before church
or at least a church service before church
But that's no longer the case on Saturday
Nothing good on at all anymore
for today's kids
and their kids
once they cancel
The last vestige of Saturday morning cartoons!
Not that Saturday morning cartoons are any good
because they don't make em like they used to
the last time I had a Saturday off at least
or the time before that
when they were showing really bad cartoons
Hollywood just does not care any more for quality
just to rake in the bucks for trendy garbage
While audiences continue to suffer greatly
because the last vestige of Saturday morning cartoons will be canceled
by those worthless overpaid network staffs
