Like most other cable networks (exception: Turner Classic Movies) the programming of when it started is not the same as it is now. Of course it comes with a name change to just LMN.

invariably carry the same plot
about the independent woman
who gets everything she wants
very easily to come by
except for romance
But she can do all that
without the man
because he doesn't get
everything he works for
because she does
Then she meets him
and she nags and complains
but somehow he loves it
and persues her around town
to hear more nags and complaints
And then the rest is up to her
about whether she'd prefer
to nag him to pieces
or to complain to everyone else
that there's no one for her
♪ Not even Mad Scientists
get it right every time
Not to mention men being depicted as misogynists, rapists or beaters. Can you imagine the reaction if the gender roles were reversed.
