the works of Giuseppe Tornatore such as La migliore offerta (2013) (aka Deception, 2013), Una pura formalità (1994) and La leggenda del pianista sull'oceano (1998) (aka The Legend of 1900, 1998) deserve way more attention.

Akira Kurosawa's The Bad Sleep Well gets no love at all and I consider it to be his best film that he's made (of what I've seen).
