What's the name of this soap?

I am trying to find out the name of this soap which I saw scenes of a long time ago back in 1990/1991. The only things I can remember are:
There was this character called Gabrielle. One of the storylines was when Gabrielle was going to marry this guy but the wedding was stopped when they told her the guy was her brother or halfbrother.

There was another character called Chloe or Zoey. She was mean and she had a brother. She didn't like the woman the brother was with.I don't remember much except for this quote she told her: "Bravo, bravo for the devil"

There was also this lady that had weird eyes. They looked strange and she wasn't nice.

I think the soap was called Another Life but I am not sure.

I searched Google a bit, and found little. I don't think it was "Another Life" as that seemed to be a christian type soap, with no characters' names matching.

Was it Santa Barbera by chance?

reply

How about Sunset Beach, I know it came a little later than 1991-92 but it sounds possible. Another Life was a Christian soap opera on CBN, and I am kind of sure that it wasn't that. Hey, it could be Another World.

reply

It is not Sunset Beach or Santa Barbara. I checked out Another Life and don't think it was it.

That was SUNSET BEACH...I remember the girl being in love with two brothers because if memory serves, one of the brothers was a priest.

I watched Sunset Beach and it wasn't Gaby.

Funny...I didn't watch it, but, Passions?? Or is it too new??

reply

Passions is too new. I think it was from the 80s

It's not PASSIONS...I still think it's SUNSET BEACH, but the female character to which the OP refers might not have been named Gabrielle.
