how do you fix image burn on an hd lcd tv?


i have a 32 inch one i use as a screen for my computer recently i noticed the image of the top bar of my internet browser as begun to burn into my screen and i was wondering how youd get rid of it? if there are preferably any free programs i can use please let me know

You can't get rid of it. That's why we have screensavers...

Are you sure it's LCD? They don't get burn-in. THey do get image retention, though, which is a lot easier to fix. Wikipedia explains:

I don't think you can get rid of it. They say not to leave things like Sky+ on pause for too long, because of image/shadow burn. Using a Web browser on a TV is the same thing really.

You don't. You get rid of the TV and buy a new one. Then you don't use the TV to display your computer image.
