recommendations similar to shameless?
loved shameless, loved skins (s1), loved misfits, but hated bread.

I'm not a Shameless fan, I don't dislike it either, I've simply never watched it.
But, in a similar vein you might want to watch 'Him & Her' and 'Benidorm', I'll guess you don't live under a rock and have watched 'The Royale Family'.
I don't watch any of those shows either, but one little relatively unheard of gem you may like which I do enjoy is 'Ideal' with Johnny Vegas.
