Snuff Box

I found it very hit or miss, with the Matt Berry portions hilarious and the Rich Fulcher scenes for the most part, dreadful.

As it only lasted 6 episodes I can't imagine it went over well, but what did you in the U.K. think of it?

Apart from the 'boyfriend' sketches that are edited altogether on youtube, it's a huge miss. Its brand of unconventional comedy allowed Fulcher's childish gibberish to be shown for what it really is outside of an accommodating acid trip like the Boosh. And Berry just feels wasted here. He's like his Douglas Reynholm character from The IT Crowd with all the funny sucked out of him.

However, latte-sipping hipster wankers love it, since it's not mainstream so the rest of us "just don't get it". "It's actually more like a moving art installation... *sip*". "Mmm, it's genre-bending... *sip*". Or something to that effect.

I'd recommend Unnatural Acts if you need your sketch comedy to be slightly insane.
