The Mighty Boosh

Any non-British people seen The Mighty Boosh?
What did you think?

reply

I saw it and fell in love with it when it aired on Adult Swim as part of the Brit Block on Friday nights. I think its a really fun show.

reply

I absolutely love the Mighty Boosh! I first saw it last summer (after seeing Noel Fielding in the IT Crowd) and was immediately intrigued by it. I just wish there were more episodes!

reply

Aired in Australia pretty much back when it aired in the UK, but then we get a lot of Britcom here. So yeah, very familiar with it. Top sho(p).

Best show ever They need a season four a movie maybe get a deal on IFC that gives them the budget they want and full control.

reply

The Mighty Boosh is done and dusted, it ended 7 years ago. I loved the Boosh but it is what it was, it wouldn't feel right if they made anymore now.

How thick is wall?

reply

they can bring any britcom they want at any time look at red dwarf and ab fab for one.

reply

Yes, Red Dwarf and Ab Fab are two very good reasons why bringing shows back is a very poor idea.

"Do you rent downstairs?"

reply

Agreed. Just look at the millennium reunion special of Blackadder (Back & Forth). Although not entirely dreadful, it was never going to recapture the magic of the originals. It just didn't work. Different decade, different era, things change, the world moves on and so does its comedy.
