As expected, Trump already backing down on promises. Equally predictably, his cult members believe

his absurd excuses.

Shouldn't be surprising. Trump's claims about things like inflation are nonsense. Why wouldn't they also believe explanations for his not being able to easily fix it that are also nonsense.

Even if you accept his excuse that Biden just messed things up too badly for him to be able to fix, which is more nonsense, inflation is a global problem and is generally worse in most of the world is here, but even if you believe that, do you actually think he didn't realize that until just after the election.

They've been played like this for over a decade now. I wouldn't expect them to realize it now, as obvious as it is.

reply

So much TDS dumbassery, hypocrisy and deflection.

Where was your outrage during the past 4 years of inflation during the Biden regime?

inflation is a global problem

So why are you whining about Trump?

reply

TDS?

Biden never claimed to be able to eliminate inflation practically overnight, while doing something well known to send inflation into overdrive like tariffs, only to back down before even taking office, you fucking idiot.

There's no hypocrisy in my post, you utter nincompoop. My criicism of Trump is not the same as what you said about Biden.

Inflation has been going down under Biden, and it has been better here in the US than it has been in most of the rest the world. It's been improving gradually, though, which makes sense. AND BIDEN NEVER CLAIMED TO BE ABLE TO DO OTHERWISE.

I've already had my fill of talking to a fool for today, so have a good day.

reply

Biden never claimed to be able to eliminate inflation practically overnight

And yet, that inflation magically started after Biden took over.

- Inflation 20.7% cumulative increase.

- Energy costs up 30.5%.

- Food costs up 23%.

- Housing up 24.1%

And don't try to blame it on "inherited inflation" because that would refute your entire OP.

reply

You're using cumulative numbers to claim inflation started under Biden. And inherited inflation is exactly what Trump promised claimed he could fix, quickly, while putting big tariffs in place. My point about Trump was how obviously false his claims were and how obvious it was that he lied.

I didn't say Trump should be able to quickly cure high inflation. Very clearly, that wasn't the point.

Stupid doesn't being to describe you.

Oh, look, I replied, breaking my promise, kind of like Trump.

Bye, for real this time.

reply

They started immediately under Biden and they "increased cumulatively" ... You're welcome.

reply

Naturally tv can't have used MSM or establishment sources for all these figures. He doesn't do that sort of thing.

reply

Don't listen to tvfan. He's the biggest conspiracy theorist on this board. I also doubt it's a right-wing thing. He is literally obsessed with Trump ways.

reply

Yes I have experienced that several times....

reply

Those figures are only for the imbeciles, the denialists and the brainwashed.

Normal average people have been experiencing all that for the past 4-years.

Your gaslighting is noted ... as usual.

reply

Those figures are only for the imbeciles, the denialists and the brainwashed.

Then why, er, did you think them reliable enough to attack Biden on their basis?

reply

You deflected but at least you conceded that Biden belongs among those three groups.

reply

The economy is probably going to crash when Trump, Musk, and Ramaswamy get done robbing the Treasury. But hey, his followers will still be ranting about DEI or drag queens.

reply

An economy requires TWO sides, buyers and sellers.

Not only Trump but pretty much all right wingers in the world, including Democrats, engage in "supply side economics" making production for the industry as cheap as they can, up to the government simply giving the industry cash money in case they do not sell enough to keep the company at float.
They import cheap labor under the excuse they need qualified workers, get large tax breaks, etc.

But nobody cares about the fact that in an economy where over 50% of consumers cannot even pay their rent on time, it doesn't matter how cheap production can get, over half of the consumers don't have one single penny left after paying essential bills and they just can't buy anything.

The reason why there's inflation is, producers are giving up on a larger and larger part of the population who just can't buy anything, they lay off workers, shrink production and look for customers with money where they can charge higher prices so they make the same profit upon less sales.

Democrat lockdowns lead by Democrat states of CA NY, MI.

Democrat stimulus passed by Democrat congress printing 8 trillion more debt.

Democrat economic policy of increased taxes and regulations that decrease supply.

Cuts in oil production on day 1 of the Democrat presidency of the senile pantshitter.

Trump hasn’t even taken office, the post is willfully ignorant as we’ve come to expect from intellectually bankrupt left.

TDS ignorance can be sent to the ignore list.

reply

My post was 100 percent about the obvious lies Trump told while running, and the fact that he's already backpedaling on many of his claims, specifically about the one that he'd be able to quickly and easily fix inflations, while putting in tariffs at that. Yes, he's not even in office yet, and he's already admitting he won't be able to come close to doing what he said he would when it comes to inflation. Like I said before, he had to know this while he was running.

The willful ignorance is yours. You won't even acknowledge what my post is about. Your post is all about trying to blame Biden for inflation (which, as I pointed out, is actually worse in most of the rest of the world). You didn't write a single word that had anything to do with to my point.

reply

All the inflation was under Biden but you're too brainwashed to realize it; instead, you point the finger and blame at Trump when he's still not in office.

Only an idiot expects a snap of the finger miracle after 4-years of shit under the Biden regime.

Wait until the end of 2028 to post your nonsense.

reply

This is nothing new. Trump's most loyal followers are really just using him as much as he is using them, and they both know it. Trump has always for his time been a narcissist who openly exaggerates to his benefit and is clearly prioritizes his self-indulgence over real leadership. He even makes up stuff in his head to suit his narrative if necessary (doesn't bother checking gas prices around town, which would easily disprove his claim of prices still being $5 everywhere).

That being said, I would prefer him over Kamala. She doesn't seem like she would do any better, and unlike Trump, we don't know how her personality would contribute in a negative fashion.
She seems just as clueless, or if not even more than Trump, with her screeching laugh and body language giving me vibes of a not-so-serious leader. She seems to foolishly be under the assumption that price gouging is responsible for high prices, when there's little evidence, and one of her own bills contributed to it (American Rescue Act).

reply

Nice word salad but you sound as confused as Biden.

reply

Lol. Can't you just go a day without trolling on this board and being objective with your real feelings? You obviously enjoying the baiting. You pretend to act like Trump will be the best person who ever existed in 100 centuries.
You also think in complete black-and-white. That is probably why you didn't understand my "word salad". You just like to insult others politics to get a kick instead of actually debating, right?

reply

After the election, I guess MAGA is a cult... the Cult of AMERICA....FUCK YEAH!!!

reply

All Trump does is lie, grift, brag, insult, whine, deflect, cheat, rape, defraud, double jerk dance and golf.
But the MAGA morons are blind

reply

Any criticism of him gets you accused of TDS, like they think you're mad to criticize him. It's bizarre. Truely cult like
