Trump - day one

whats Trump doing on day 1 again ?

Letting some criminals out of jail I believe , but anything else?
I think he's gone quiet on the "making your groceries cheap again " thing.
oh and theres mobilising the big immigrant hunt

is there anything else?
whats the big ticket items on his agenda?

build a bit more wall maybe?
I presume the invasion of Panama, Greenland and Canada are more of a back burner thing.

It might not look like it but this is a serious question
I hope you not all going to just answer with a barrage of insults and no actual .. meat
I mentioned a few -tongue-in-cheek suggestions
but seriously ... what the plan ?
what is he going to tackle first ?

reply

He will be signing 100 EOs, but unlike the TDSers, I don't expect everything to be completed on day one.

If you tell me that you will build a castle on day one of your administration, should I expect you to also finish it on day one?

reply

i didnt say i expected him to complete whatever on day one, i just want to know whats happening first , mainly because ive not heard any real policy in his entire campaign apart from "immigrants" and "tarriffs" both of which are at best pointless non starters

reply

Sign Executive Order # whatever he chooses putting an end to this abnormal liberal nonsense over Males masquerading as females to play in their sports and share their personal spaces with them and Thank God for that!!

reply

I'm down with that . Good move.

good but tiny.
Pretty inconsequential when set against the huge responsibility of running a country
Its pretty much the equivalent of sharpening your pencil before starting the actual work.

I'm next to certain one of the first things he'll do will be another large tax break for the richest of the rich.
What he'll do afterwards is hard to tell in advance, especially because I expect Musk (and many others of the ultra rich) will drop him like a hot potatoe right after he has his tax break and where Trump will go without the support of the richest of the rich, when corporate media turns against Trump, remains to be seen.
As a wild guess I see a pretty good chance he'll turn to the religious extremists and push Project 2025.

reply

This depends on how much he learned in 2017. Back then, he let scum like Paul Ryan chart the course on prioritizing tax breaks. Ultimately, that was probably the most consequential thing he actively accomplished (staying out of foreign entanglements is more of a passive action), and that doesn't reflect well on him unless you're in the 1%. Of course, after they got a gift to the donor class, Congressional Republicans got to work on throwing the mid-terms and finking on their voters. I'd like to think he learned something from that. We shall see.

As for this obsession lefties like Mark have with Project 2025, I just don't get it.

reply

The debt ceiling fight is going to be interesting.

reply

Heres what he's going to do , just so yall know what to look forward to first

He's weirdly specific about the J6 crims - "first nine minutes"

Stopping trannies competing as women is another one - I think everyone left and right can agree that will be a good thing .

reply

Day -4. end one war. Brown Biden will be toast soon.

reply

oh the Gaza one - yeah well done Trump , what a bonus ! He didnt even brag doing that , just got on with it - what a hero
.. unless its just a coincidence?

He's ending the Ukraine one on day 1 , or possibly before (his own words) so that should be in the next 5 days or so.
I just hope his strategy isnt "OK Zelenski , pack it in now because my buddy Putin wants the territory"

reply

it could be in the next week or 2. you never know. and we all know that Ukraine isnt getting that land back unless you want to keep spending billions and/or send American troops to help fight the war. if you are against this then you are a Putin lover.

reply

its a tricky one for sure, best outcome for Ukraine is Russia keep the bit they got so far I reckon

reply

yeah, its def tricky. we are stuck in a quagmire with a country that has nukes. the best option would be to negotiate a DMZ and call it a day. then everyone can go back to living their lives.

reply

Keep in mind that Biden had almost three years to stop the Ukraine war, so don't nick pick if it takes Trump a few extra days or weeks.

And the Hamas/Israel resolution was all Trump; Biden had nothing to do with it ...

And If the Dems would have succeeded in stealing another election, that conflict would have continued.

reply

yup, dems allowed this war to continue for 3 years and they never had any intention on negotiating a peace deal. their plan was to launder as much money as they could.

reply

Not bad.... did you also upload this to your Live Journal and Fanfiction.net pages?
