It's really a sign of some kind of mental issue I think, that he would brag like that about something when the reality wasn't remotely close, but went on a stream thinking he'd be able to fool people who were into that hobby. It's batshit crazy. The fact that it was about something not important in the grand scheme of things, a video game, doesn't change that.

He was playing a very high level character that he claimed to get to that point himself in the game. He didn't claim to be great at the first game and was now just trying the second one.

Lame is accurate. I think it's revealing about his character, that not only would he do this, but that he thinks he'd be able to stream online and talk about the game and no one would pick up on how inept he is at the game. Shows you how little he thinks of his and Trump's supporters.
