The Trump fact checks are bullshit?:Illegal immigrants killed 100s of thousands of US citizens! Taken 107% of new jobs!

Just about any time he's asked a question, he just makes up his numbers and other things off the top of his head. They aren't run of the mill politician twisting the truth. It's just brazen.

Wild, over the top, obvious lies. And MAGA doesn't question a word of it. It's the people who are fact checking him that are lying!

I get that MAGA has become a cult, and you don't question the leader, but there's enough people outside the cult willing to vote for him that he has a small lead over Harris in the big average of the major polls. Disturbing.

reply

Every single illegal alien is a criminal. Fact check true.

reply

I agree that he makes up thing off the top of the head. A few months back, he said that gas prices were still $5-8. Anyone can see that isn't true by looking up at the time 99.2% were below $5, or even looking up the gas station which they close to. Apparently, he never checked in on this information (routine habit of his).

reply

I seriously doubt anybody born this wealthy has ever given a shit about the price of gas, nor has any context as to how it effects ordinary people.

reply

So just make it up instead. That's the Trump approach when he doesn't know something, which is most of the time.

Make up something that suits him.

reply

ahh fact checking... "come to my official 100% non biased website in order to be told what to think, but it's not biased nope"

reply

Idiot. You don't need a double digit IQ to know the thread subject is a fucking lie.

reply

you want a smack in the fucking mouth?

reply

It's been eight years now. It's been discussed many times that Trump has an odd speaking style and is very hyperbolic.

Acting like you are unaware of that fact is you being dishonest.

Your whine about Trump supporters believing Trump without question is based on nothing but your lie of being unaware of Trump's long established behavior.

So, it the real world, your op is nothing but you pretending to be uninformed.

reply

No, it's not dishonest to point out when he's completely made things up to support whatever point he's made because he's always done it or that's his "speaking style". Jesus fucking Christ.

How do you even justify that in your mind? Talk about blind devotion. Trump is making up numbers that aren't even close to reality, but pointing them out is the real dishonesty. There isn't a massive wave of murder happening in this country because of illegal immigrants, obviously not in the 100s of thousands, but it's not really happening at all. Don't point it out, though, you liars.

That's some incredibly warped thinking. The most warped, twisting thinking I've ever come across. Trump supporters are the most depraved, mentally sick political group in history. The sickest. The worst.

reply

Calm down Zarkoff.

You've made a apoint about illegal immigration. It upsets you that Trump is exaggerating the crime numbers of illegals.

HEre is the deal.

As an American conservative, i am very opposed to ilegal immigration and want the government to secure the border to slow or stop the flow of illegals. Trump, though I don't trust him on the numbers, is expressing his hostility to the flow of illegals, and I hope that if he gets into office, that he was take steps to address it.

YOU, as a lefty of some type, you probably consider the focus of myself and others on this issue to be wrong or bad and probably don't support strong and aggressive action on the border, so you hear this, and not only don't you trust him on the numbers, you interprete his meaning that if he gets into office that he will crack down hard, possibly meanly or hurting the illlegals feelings or something.

That is why you oppose him.

And that's fine. IF you said that, or something like it, we could have a reasonable discussion about our policy disagreement.

BUT, you prefer to pretend that you don't know about his speaking style and instead you want to pretend that those oppose you on policy are all stupid.

That's you being a divisive.

reply

Is there anything more obnoxious than someone telling someone else to "calm down" when that person has an opinion they don't like? What next? Are you going to call me a snowflake? Oooo, devastating!

LOL. You calm down.

Trump's making these claims to support his arguments, so to tell people it's dishonest to point out the reality because that's his "speaking style" and therefore, I guess, should just be allowed to slide is insanity.

Illegal immigration was not the lowest its ever been in US history when he was president.

There is no massive wave of murder being committed by people crossing the boarder illegally, much less one in the 100s of thousands, not even the tens of thousands. TRUMP SPENT A LOT OF TIME DURING HIS RNC SPEACH TALKING ABOUT THIS. It's absolutely valid to point out the reality.

Water quality was not the best it's ever been under Trump. Trump did nothing to improve it. If it improved at all while he was President, it had nothing to do with his policies.

The "hyperbole" is often completely different than the reality. It's not someone saying they were on the bestseller list for a year and it was only twenty weeks. His made up "facts" are totally disconnected with the real world.

reply

All of that is irrelevant to my point.

The point is that Trump is expressing his position on the issue. We both get it as an expression of wanting to take a hard line on the issue.

I support that, you oppose it.

The bit where you attacked me and mine for believing Trump's stats? That was you pretending to be obviously to 8 years of discussion on this issue, adn then using your pretense of ignorance to attack us.

So, stop doing that.

Do you think it is racist to want to deport illegals? Do you voice a complaint when people call illegal aliens "illegals"?

reply

That's insane. Trump is making these claims to support his position. Of course it's valid to point out that what Trump's saying isn't just false, but not in the same ballpark, in many cases not on the same continent, as reality.

No, I'm not going to stop doing it. People who oppose him need to do it more, IMO.

I actually have been using the word "illegal" when talking about people coming across the boarder, well, illegally. I don't like the games the left has been playing with language. I don't march in lockstep with the hard left types.

reply

1. I don't care about Trump's supporting arguments. I am anti-immigration and if he is hostile to illegal immigration, then he is a better choice for me to support than Harris.

2. YOU don't care about Trump's supporting arguments. YOu are NOT hostile to immigration and if Trump is hostile to illegal immigration, then you are opposing him. AM I WRONG ABOUT ANY OF THAT?

(flicker of independent thinking noted. will watch for more)

reply

More nonsense.

Of course the claims he's making matter. Trump is saying these things to convince people to vote for him and support what he wants to do. He's saying that foreign governments are actually sending criminals from their prisons into the US and that illegal immigrants are then massacring lawful US citizens in the hundreds of thousands, THEREFORE we should vote for him.

reply

Are you open to having your mind changed by Trump's supporting argument(s)?
