Is it morally acceptable to edit your posts and imply another user is a pedophile just because you dislike them?

Here is the relevant comment chain (or one of many relevant comment chains): https://moviechat.org/bd0000082/Politics/65efaf45992e9150801672ca/Similarities-of-Gaza-to-the-Holocaust?reply=65fafe57d2adc075bee2cdce

The [deleted] messages were removed by moderators. The allegations are completely made up (and echoed) by the user in question. The user in question also edits his posts after replying, as you can see me specifically address whenever I spot it.

Now many of you may strongly disagree with my politics and social positions. We may have had many bad-tempered interactions on here. But I would not accept, nor endorse anyone accusing someone else of something on zero grounds. I don't think anyone on here is a pedophile. I do think some are very authoritarian, and anti-democratic, but that is based on what they actually say.

Do you think it helps a case to just make completely baseless claims about another person? Is that moral conduct?

Forget about what you think of me, and my political positions. I want a genuine answer to this. Is this moral?

reply

I can't tell if anyone is a pedophile or not because I can't read minds.

reply

You can tell when someone is constantly defending child groomers.

reply

NOT REALLY.

reply

You mean something I've literally never done?

LGBT people are not inherently child groomers.

Fascist scumbag.

reply

It's never acceptable to change a post after someone replied.
It's ok to correct a typo.
It's ok to add something and show it clearly with "EDIT".

Secretly changing a post is deceitful and dishonourable.

reply

It's not pedophile, it's "map" now. You damn sniveling pedophobe.

reply

When have I, or anyone of any note defended the fringe group of MAP?
