and who thinks this is an appalling oppression of a minority that has no place in the 21st century world and Uganda should be shunned and sanctioned for it by the civilized nations?

It's their country and their business. If America puts sanctions on Uganda then I hope China does it to us as well because blacks keep attacking Asians.
shareFrankly this country sounds bad to live in. Seriously, people are put to death or put in prison for being homosexual? That's not right! I am a conservative Christian and don't agree with people being gay or transgender but I certainly don't want them to be put in prison or to be put to death. That's wrong! Makes me glad I don't live in that country run by evil people.
Just to clarify I am an American and if someone wants to not believe in God, that's their right. So if they want to do things that are against the bible, that's their right. I'm not gonna force my views on them just like they aren't gonna force their beliefs on me. I really don't like that a lot of politicians in my country are calling anyone that doesn't agree with those things extremists. It's just asking for another Civil War to happen to be hateful of traditional religious views.
