The man accused of a deadly attack against the Kurdish community in Paris has admitted to a "pathological" hatred of migrants, French prosecutors say.

The 69-year-old told investigators he had planned to kill "non-European foreigners" as he embarked on his shooting spree on Friday, they say.

The suspect was placed in psychiatric care after being questioned by police.

Hyperbole is an exaggeration so I suppose you could say that if there's no evidence of political leanings, saying that his reasons were due a political position could be considered an exaggeration.

But I leave you with one of my sayings: "hyperbole" is the best word ever.

I know usually the right are anti-immigration, but for all we know it was a liberal who was open to immigration, but there's just too many of them that it bothered him and he went crazy. Or maybe he has no political affiliation at all.

Apparently the guy had his house burgled. He seems to have blamed the Kurds for it so I guess they may have form in his neighbourhood for criminal activity. And judging by the ridiculous way some Kurds over-reacted to the shooting by rioting I am inclined to think he may have been on to something.

Not that I endorse shooting people because your house gets burgled but as usual there are two sides to this story.

This has nothing to with the Holocaust. The genocide of the Jews was about taking the massive wealth they had generated and stealing it. There is not genocide of the Muslims in Europe - what the Europeans and the Right-wing in American do not like about immigrants if that they dilute our culture.

We both used to let people in who believed in democracy and merging into the larger culture, but today that is not really always the case.

The problem is that while this is for some reason associated in the minds of white middle class workers with the Right - but it is the Right, and massive business interests that benefits from these migrants who they can pay nothing, and kick around, and use to dilute social programs like Social Security and Medicare.

The Left says they will protect Social Security and Medicare, but if we allow all these people in and wages continue to fall, that is questionable.

We are in a situation where the people, both Left and the Right are at war with each other because the oligarchs at the top are manipulating our politics and media to get us to hate each other, while they manipulate the economy and laws for their own benefit and profit. These oligarchs don't give a damn about workers or people anywhere unless they are billionaires.
