Trump accuses Kellyanne Conway of lying in her new memoir, tells her to 'go back to her crazy husband'
Looks like Trump is not a fan of Kellyanne Conway's new memoir "Here's The Deal" which was released this week to less than rave reviews. Even though Conway has taken aim at many Trump admin targets in her book except for Trump himself , Trump has lashed out at her and accused her of lying.
In one rather important passage - which Conway has reiterated over and over again on talk shows this past week - Conway said she was one of the first advisers in his inner circle who told Trump up front that he lost the 2020 election, as he embarked on his 'big lie' campaign.
“I may have been the first person Donald Trump trusted in his inner circle who told him that he had come up short this time,” Conway wrote.
Trump fired back on his own failed social media platform. 'Truth Social' which he has called 'True Sosish' in the very recent past.
“Kellyanne Conway never told me that she thought we lost the election. If she had I wouldn’t have dealt with her any longer - she would have been wrong - could go back to her crazy husband,” Trump wrote.
This is the second time Trump has accused her of lying in her memoir over the past week. Earlier, before the book was released, another passage came out in which she said Trump thought about dropping out of the race in October 2016 when the Entertainment Tonight 'grab them by their pussy' tapes came out.
“Should I get out [of the race]?” Conway recalled Trump asking her on the night of Oct. 8, while he further pondered: “Will I lose? Will we lose? Can we still win?”
Trump's spokesperson denied he ever had that conversation with her. calling her claim 'totally false'.
