How come there is no plot keyword tag for "woke movie"?

It sure would be very useful, but apparently the leftist IMDB editors don't want it. On the other had they do have totally worthless keywords like "no lgbt character" and "heterosexuality".

reply

Wow, this would be an amazing addition to the information architecture and digital brand of IMDB.

You must be a UX Designer.

reply

It would be very informative. Much more than the useless "heterosexuality" and "no lgbt character" tag.

reply

it would also be useless , like ,as u say , the useless "heterosexuality" and "no lgbt character" tag.

reply

No it wouldn't because there are plenty of people who would find it useful. Ever been on this very website lately? Almost every single major blockbuster has a thread asking "how woke is this movie?".

reply

yeah that a deliberate false flag operation against the anti-woke whingers, hadnt you got that?

You extremists who see every new movie as woke may as well take it as read that every new movie has that tag and stop watching new movies.

And while you're at it consider that the infantile criteria you apply to designate a movie "woke" also applies to most older movies too so stop watching them.
Except the Expendables I guess, unless theres a black guy in it.

reply

It would be useful for people who like to identify woke movies and there are a lot of them. Just like identifying movies as "anti war movie" is a useful tag for people who both like and dislike these types of movies. As for your reply, it's just rubbish whining. You've made no points whatsoever. A complete waste of typing and reading. There is nothing extremist in being anti woke. Even liberal intellectuals like Sam Harris and John McWhorter are heavily critical of wokeism.
