How do you "liberals" feel about lower-case riots?
are we allowed to go to washington as long as we keep it all lower case like this?
You are allowed to riot if you agree with the liberals politically. If you don’t then they will connect the dots in whatever direction they have to to reach the conclusion that you are an “Anti-American, Anti-Democracy, Insurrectionist” or whatever.
shareA typical riot always ends up with property damage and theft because that's the goal. We can always get past it by locking up the idiots who get their rocks off by hurting others.
A capitol riot to bully the VP may not always end up in just property damage and theft. If the VP does the bidding of those rioters, the envelopes could go back to the states, the election could be decertified, with the states sending their hand-picked electors to the House to declare the loser of an election the winner.
Those are real consequences that would literally tear this country in half. And if it's a president who pushes for it, his party will stand behind him instead of admitting he's a bad influence on his zealots and he will use them to help himself instead of the country.
You may say that it could never happen, but the one thing preventing it was the fact Mike Pence was neither a Trumpist nor was he interested in Trump staying in power after losing. We really lucked out that Trump picked a sane person as his VP.
