If Trump is acquitted in the Senate...

...do you think he will run in 2024?

And if he does run, do you think he'll win again?

I wouldn't be surprised if he does run and win again - after all that we've witnessed, nothing is surprising anymore. There were many people that voted for Trump last time and he still has a great amount of devoted followers.

zero chance of winning

It won't matter if we don't fix the flawed voting system we have now. He won in 2020 but dominion sure fixed that for creepy uncle Joe

reply

We'll take that as a "No" and disregard the rest of that blather.

reply

Blather? I wasn't aware Joe Biden was speaking

reply

I'm pretty sure he wasn't either. Sounded an awful lot like it was coming from you.

reply

Yep. IT was sure fixed. With that said, that means Dominion will surely lose to Sidney Powell and Giuliani amirite? Those 2 will surely win the billion dollar lawsuit amirite amirite? Oh you sure won this one. Wanna take a wager? I'm willing to bet whoever wins, they deport themselves and never shop up to this country again. They also lose any standing to know anything. Care to take that bet? C'mon, you know it was fixed so you won't need to worry :).

reply

Our voting system is FUBARed.

If it gets fixed(it won't) I doubt he can win.

It don't matter.

We're done here.

Rudy Giuliani is being sued by dominion for his false claims about their machines. Should be interesting.

Even if impeachment fails, they can throw in the 14th amendment to bar him from holding office ever again. This only needs 51 votes which the Dems have. Don't matter if impeachment fails. It was only needed to start the 14th. Trump's already holding his imaginary Office of the Former President as if he thinks he can still command anything for being a former president. At most he'll still have his secret service detail and does receive intel briefings which I think would be wise to stop giving it to him. He'll gladly declassify them if it can get him some brownie points for using his base more or whatnot.

reply

Since no former President has ever been barred from running before if he is eligible, that will end up in the Supreme Court.

The question asked "Do you need a 2/3 majority to BAR a former eligible President from running or does a simple majority suffice?"

Answer unclear (above my head).

There is nothing in the Constitution about this.

"Don't matter if impeachment fails. It was only needed to start the 14th."

So what you're saying is, they started impeachment while he was in office so they could 14th amendment him, but now that he's out of office they don't need impeachment?

Nikki Haley 2024

reply

Republicans are cunts so he'll probably be free to run again.
