Just to be clear I don't live in America so have no real interest in what is happening but I don't agree with censorship of any kind.
The more you censor doesn't solve any problems it just moves it somewhere else.
In the United States, we have a first amendment right to free speech, but it is not without limitations. Speech that incites violence is not protected. Furthermore, twitter is a private company, and they have terms of use. Trump has repeatedly violated their terms of use, and while he has a right to free speech, he doesn't have a right to tweet. They can choose to provide their service to, or withhold their service from, whoever they want.

Exactly my point. What happens when they censor someone or something you do agree with.
So again you are happy for tech companies to censor people based on rules that they can change at any time they want including you and me. What happens when even having this conversation on twitter is deemed breaking there guidelines and you are banned.
Your opinion is valid but it is a scary world in which companies can decide what can and cannot be discussed in a public forum.
I guess they do technically have rules that can change at any time, but Twitter didn't go out of their way to make new policies just to ban trump. The rules he was ejected for have remained the same since twitter began. They just enforced it now. There is no censorship here as far as I'm concerned. He was warned many times, and he kept pushing it, period.

Censorship is bad in all forms as it doesn't help with discussion it just drives it underground to areas of the internet you really don't want to go.
But if you want tech companies to control what you can and cannot say in a public forum how long is it until they go after your 1st amendment. It is only a matter of time. Google, twitter, facebook have more power and control ver what you say and see than you realise and your all happy to hand it over freely.

Those companies, like all businesses are, or should be, responsible to their shareholders and customers.
I used to think there was no place for censorship too, but after WWII I agree with what Germany did in banning Nazi paraphernalia and display of Nazi symbols. It was then I realize that there are no absolutes, and that there are times for even freedom of speech to be managed.
Thinking there can be no censorship at all is like taking a child's simplistic view of the world ... it just doesn't work when you get into adult and serious situations.
That hard part is the managing and who is responsible and wise enough to do it ... and I agree with you there, that is a real conundrum.
