What percentage of these women who voted against Trump know anything about politics?

It seems that almost all of them simply voted based on the media’s portrayal of him as a chauvinistic pig. Some of the more hardcore feminists and SJWs tacked on his perceived racism and treatment of the LGBT community as added flare to their righteous stance but it’s pretty clear that a solid majority of their votes were entirely self motivated and emotionally charged responses to a public image that isn’t even entirely based in reality.

This is dangerous and unfortunate as it completely neglects the multiple very real and more relevant issues they are overlooking simply to exact revenge on this patriarchal bogey man who never really did anything to them or that impacted their lives in any significant way.

Hardly. Introduce a detestable person and tells us we should appreciate him is absurd.
These end-around arguments that somehow rump is good for the country in any capacity is bonkers, and there is absolutely no point in pursing the argument further. Was Joe McCarthy good for the country? Benedict Arnold? Bernie Madoff? When the truth is staring straight at you and you choose to ignore it, there's nothing to say.

What theory? MOST of the women I know first hand who voted against Trump were not informed, responsible voters at all. Just rabid anti Trumpers foaming at the mouth.

Give him some slack. Maybe he's a traditionalist that prefers women don't say much, stay in the kitchen to make sandwiches, don't vote, and men have the final say. Sort of like Islam but without the garbage bag over their bodies.

Many people are of the opinion that character counts in a leader.

Having a leader that is so course sets a bad example for future generations. Many women simply just don't want their children emulating his ways.

I find it a more interesting comment on society that the number of people that just don't care about a man's character.

In 1960 no way would a man of Trump's character be elected, the thought would be abhorrent.

Why is it ok today? One factor is the media we consumed has changed, and it has changed expectations. Leave it to Beaver, The Walton's, The Brady Bunch as been replaced by raunchy hit shows like Shamless, Dexter, Married with Children and many others I can't name.

With liberal ideals that Hollywood brought in (do what ever feels good, over what should be done, be less judgemental) comes a backlash.

Hollywood mocks Trump. But Trump is just the result of Hollywood's liberal attitude for the past 50 years, where a man's character takes a back seat to ratings.

An ratings (like Trump) are King.

Many women DID vote for Trump. They see their blue collar husband's abandoned by the Democratic party, thatwent all in on the gender equality/diversity card.

Many just want their husbands to have a middle class paying job again so voted for Trump. Many others were turned off by his boorish behavior.
